Conditions of the University Scholarship

Portland State University is delighted to offer the International Achievement Funding for the 2021/22 session. The scholarship is awarded to new international students based on their academic achievement.

The main objective of this program is to provide support to all the most talented students who wish to pursue undergraduate studies at PSU in the United States.

ELIGIBILITY

Eligible students typically have incoming grade point averages (GPA) of at least 3.5 on a possible grading scale of 4.0.
Students who have not yet passed the TOEFL/English Language Proficiency are eligible for this scholarship; however, scholarship activation will be delayed until the ESL restriction has been lifted and students are fully eligible for unrestricted enrollment in academic classes.
The International Success Scholarship is for new applicants only for a maximum of 12 terms for freshmen and six terms for transfers. Students already enrolled at Portland State are not eligible.
Masters and PhD candidates may be eligible for this scholarship depending on the availability of funding.
